Compliance as a Core Capability
As compliance mandates evolve and intensify, Systems Engineering helps organizations navigate, implement, and operationalize cybersecurity and IT controls that meet a wide array of regulatory requirements. We assist clients in aligning their IT environments with compliance frameworks and industry-specific mandates, such as:
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
- CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification)
- NCUA (National Credit Union Association)
- HIPAA, GLBA, SOX, GDPR and
- Other industry, federal, and state-level regulations
Our Adaptive Cybersecurity Framework (aCSF) enables clients to improve their security posture and technology stance as a continual process. We’ve combined proprietary best practices derived from 35 years of experience with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) to create a flexible tool that assesses where clients are on their cybersecurity maturity journey and delivers a multi-year strategy and implementation plan to address their secure technology priorities. The aCSF is customized to work with clients regardless of their current security profile.
Security and Compliance in Practice
We apply the same cybersecurity and compliance rigor to our own operations. Systems Engineering undergoes an annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit, reinforcing our adherence to the Trust Service Principles of Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy. This demonstrates to clients that we hold ourselves to the same standards we help them achieve. Our SOC 2 report is available to clients upon request.
Client Success Is Our Ownership Mindset
As proud participants in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), our employee-owners are personally invested in our clients’ success. We recognize that when clients have secure, compliant, and reliable technology in place, they are empowered to pursue innovation and growth. We work diligently to become a trusted advisor and indispensable partner, delivering mission-critical technology solutions that free leaders to focus on strategic outcomes—not IT concerns.
